Mormon Battalion Visitors Center

I occasionally volunteer at the MTC to help the sister missionaries who are heading to visitors centers around the country practice teaching investigators. Several of the sisters I've met were heading to the Mormon Battalion Visitors Center in San Diego, which I didn't even know existed beforehand. So when my Mom and I went to California, we decided to stop by. It's actually really cool-- they take you on a tour and tell the story of the Mormon Battalion, complete with panning for gold, talking pictures on the walls, and the floor shaking when a herd of buffalo runs through. Cool place!
