Alpine Loop & Cascade Springs

I went on a photo-taking adventure with a girl in my ward last week along the Alpine Loop. I was slightly disappointed in the lack of fall colors in most places, but we still managed to find a few gems, especially at Cascade Springs, which is basically a bunch of mini waterfalls. We saw a moose, too! So cool!

Not sure why I love this waterfall so much, but it's one of my all-time favorites, and it comes at the end of a beautiful hike.

A budding photographer in the family

Silver Lake. This was always one of my dad's favorite places to go.
We've come here as a family every summer for the last 14 years.

I don't see green flowers very often! So unique.

A normally 10-minute walk takes over an hour with a curious 6-year-old & her overly dramatic 11-year-old sister... But I still love these girls a ton. And the scenery is beautiful!
